Saudi deputy finance minister leads delegation at GCC finance deputies meeting in Kuwait

Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Minister of Finance for International Relations, Khaled Bawazier, led the country’s delegation at the 74th Meeting of GCC Finance Ministries’ Deputies on September 24, 2025, in Kuwait City.

The main objective of the meeting was to prepare for the upcoming 124th Ministerial Meeting of the GCC Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee. Participants also reviewed the outcomes from several related gatherings, including the 85th Meeting of Central Bank Governors from GCC countries. Other topics discussed included results from meetings involving the Customs Union Authority, tax administration leaders within the GCC, and the GCC Common Market Committee.

At the end of their discussions, attendees developed recommendations for consideration by the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee at its forthcoming ministerial session.
