Saudi Electric Company completes air ambulance landing strip at power station

Saudi Electric Company (SEC) recently completed building the
first airstrip for air ambulances at power plants in accordance with the joint
cooperation agreement signed with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority. 

 Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al-Obaid, deputy executive
president of human resources department for SEC, said  the company has
developed plans to implement multiple airstrips and establish centers for
ground ambulances. It has worked with the Saudi Red Crescent Authority at these
power plants. The goal of all of this, he said, is to provide quick medical
services to company plant authorities, especially ones far away from hospitals.

Meanwhile, Waleed bin Saleh Al-Kereedees, support health
services director, said that the SEC and Saudi Red Crescent Authority have successfully
conducted the first air ambulance landing test at the 12th power
stationin Dhurma governorate. He noted that all systems functioned properly and the medical team
efficiently dealt with the test case in the right amount of time.
