Saudi Electric Company seeking developers for two solar photovoltaic power plants

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) invites expressions of interest regarding potential development of two solar photovoltaic independent power plants, to be located in Al-Jouf and Rafha.

SEC will select a developer or developer consortium to develop and operate the sites, which will each have up to 50 megawatts of photovoltaic capacity. The new power plants will support existing conventional power plants in their respective locations.

Interested parties should express their interest to participate in the procurement process by no later than June 20 via hard copy or a PDF attachment to an email, addressed to Hamed Al-Saggaf, Executive Director, IPP & Renewable Energy New Venture Department, Saudi Electricity Company, P.O.
