Saudi Electricity Company announced on Mar. 1 the completion of regulatory steps to change its name to Saudi Energy Company, following approval by its 12th Extraordinary General Assembly held on Feb. 25.

The company said the rebranding marks an expanded strategic role in the national energy sector. It also aims to reinforce its commitment as a key enabler in Saudi Arabia’s energy landscape.

Alongside the official name change, the company introduced a new brand identity intended to reflect this broader focus within the industry. The transition follows all necessary regulatory requirements and procedures.

According to the announcement, these changes are part of ongoing efforts by the company to align with national priorities and enhance its position within Saudi Arabia’s evolving energy sector.

The company stated that it will continue serving as a major contributor in supporting national energy initiatives under its new identity.
