Excellency the Saudi Minister of Finance, Mohammed Aljadaan, completed his participation as a member of the Saudi delegation at the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting. The event took place in Davos, Switzerland from January 19 to 23, 2026, under the theme “A Spirit of Dialogue.”

During the forum, Minister Aljadaan joined a session at the Saudi House initiative’s pavilion titled “From Reform to Delivery: Executing Change at Scale.” He stated that true reform is not measured by speed or early wins, but rather whether it becomes permanent—changing how institutions and markets behave.

In another session called “Economies of the Future Fast-Forward to 2050,” Aljadaan emphasized that global economies must begin now to prepare and complete their structural reforms in order to meet the requirements of the future economy, amid current challenges and prevailing uncertainty.

At the session “A Check-In on the Saudi Economy,” he said that visitors to Saudi Arabia will feel a strong, positive energy. He explained that “the people themselves radiate this spirit, as they believe in this journey and witnessing its impact.”

At the conclusion of the forum, Minister Aljadaan participated in a session on “Global Economic Outlook.” He noted that countries around the world need to support existing institutions such as the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, which enjoy greater recognition and trust than before. He added, “We need to enhance dialogue and cooperation by embracing global dialogue platforms such as the World Economic Forum.”
