Saudi finance ministry opens applications for student cooperative training program

The Saudi Ministry of Finance has announced the start of applications for its Cooperative Training Program, targeting university students who are set to graduate in 2023. The application window is open from Monday, January 15, 2024, until Wednesday, January 13, 2024.

According to the Ministry, the program is intended to help graduating students improve their knowledge and professional skills by offering training opportunities that match the required specializations for each academic term. The initiative is part of the Ministry’s broader commitment to social responsibility and aims to develop the abilities of national talent.

Eligibility criteria include being a Saudi national, maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least “very good” (3.75 out of 5 or 2.75 out of 4), having at least an intermediate level of English proficiency, and successfully passing both the selection and interview stages.

Applicants are required to submit specific documents via email at add@mof.gov.sa. These documents include a letter from their university confirming approval for cooperative training and a copy of their CV.

“The program aims to enhance the knowledge and professional skills of graduating students by providing training opportunities according to the required specializations for each term. This reflects the Ministry’s commitment to social responsibility by qualifying and developing the capabilities of national talents.”

The Ministry further stated: “The Ministry clarified that applicants must be Saudi nationals, have a cumulative GPA of no less than very good (3.75 out of 5 or 2.75 out of 4), and possess at least an intermediate level of English proficiency, in addition to passing the selection and interview process.”

“The Ministry emphasized the importance of attaching the required documents when applying via email (add@mof.gov.sa) including a letter from the university confirming approval for cooperative training, as well as the applicant’s CV.”
