Saudi government, business leaders promote partnership opportunities for industrial development

The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) will host a
conference and luncheon program on Aug. 25, entitled “Localization,
Innovation and Partnership Opportunities for Industrial Development in Saudi
Arabia.”

The event will take place at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los
Angeles, California.

 

The goal of the event is to introduce product manufacturers
and service providers to opportunities in Saudi Arabia’s expanding industrial
and manufacturing base. Top Saudi government and business leaders will attend
the meeting to promote partnership ideas as part of the National Transformation
Program 2020.

 

In attendance will be Khalid
Al-Falih, minister of Energy, Industry, and Mineral Resources, along with Abdullah Bin Faisal, Saudi Arabian ambassador to the U.S.; Saud Bin Khalid, acting governor, Saudi Arabian General
Investment Authority; Dr. Turki Bin Saud, president,
King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology; Dr. Alaa Nassif,
CEO, Royal Commission at Yanbu; Khalid Al-Mudaifer, president and CEO, Saudi Arabian
Mining Company; and Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh, executive vice president,
Polymers, SABIC.

 

Leaders from U.S. companies such as The Dow
Chemical Company, General Electric Company, Fluor Corporation, Jacobs
Engineering and ExxonMobil will also join the meeting.
