Saudi king, US president enjoy amicable talk

Saudi Arabian King Salman bin Abdulaziz and U.S. President Donal Trump spoke by phone recently to discuss developments in regional and global affairs and ways to increase their nations’ economic, military and security cooperation.

 

 

The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia said the two leaders agreed on the issues they covered, including terrorism, extremism, and confronting parties attempting to undermine security and stability in the region.

 

The king
and the president invited each other to their respective countries, saying face-to-face meetings are important to promoting cooperation and achieving a strategic
partnership in reaching common goals.
