Saudi labor committee names chairman, vice chairman

The Saudi Committee for Labor Market elected a new chairman and vice chairman during the recent Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC)

meeting.

Al Shethri will oversee the committee as chairman, while Maid Al Mohammadi will occupy the vice chairman’s seat. 

During the meeting, both men “thanked their
colleagues for the trust bestowed upon them, promising to dedicate their
efforts to further enhance the role of the committee in address labor market
issues,” the council reported.

 
CSC’s secretary general, Saud Al Meshari, joined the meeting and stressed the importance of working with others to reach the goals set by Saudi Vision 2030. 

While the committee seeks to better the Saudi labor market,
it also strives to provide recommendations and plans to better the business
market. Committee
members are from Saudi Arabia as well as international and local labor bodies.
