His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Aljadaan, took part in a ministerial dialogue titled “Striking Balance: Coordinating Fiscal and Monetary Actions” during the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum in Riyadh on May 13, 2025. This event coincided with U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to the Kingdom.

Minister Aljadaan highlighted the strengthening Saudi-U.S. relations, noting that investments between the two countries are increasing steadily, which supports achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Addressing private investment in Saudi Arabia, Minister Aljadaan stated, “Private investment is a structural anchor of any economy—shifting it typically takes decades. Yet in Saudi Arabia, we were able to improve its share as a percentage of GDP from 16% to around 23%.” He encouraged investors to engage with Saudi investors and meet the youth to understand how ambition drives this society.

The Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum serves as a crucial platform for enhancing strategic economic collaboration between Saudi Arabia and the United States across various sectors such as AI and technology, manufacturing, energy and minerals, finance, security and defense, healthcare, and venture capital. It brings together policymakers, business leaders, innovators, and investors from both nations to explore new opportunities for cross-border investment and sustainable economic growth.
