The Saudi Ministry of Finance, in partnership with the World Bank Group, has announced new job and training opportunities for Saudi professionals through the “Saudi Talent Fellowship Program.” The initiative will place selected candidates at the World Bank Group’s headquarters in Washington and in several of its offices around the world.

According to the Ministry, previous rounds of the program have succeeded in attracting young Saudi talent. The goal is to help participants develop technical skills that are important for sustainable development and to increase Saudi Arabia’s presence within the World Bank Group.

The fellowship is open to qualified Saudis who are interested in international development. Participants will work on a range of tasks such as policy and strategy advisory, project identification, preparation, evaluation, and supervision of development initiatives. The program also gives fellows an opportunity to collaborate with governments, civil society organizations, private sector entities, and other stakeholders involved in development projects globally.

A statement from the Ministry noted: “The program offers unique opportunities for qualified Saudi professionals who are passionate about international development, enabling them to contribute to Address the world’s most pressing development challenges. Participants will also engage in various development areas, including policy and strategy advisory, project identification, preparation, evaluation, and supervision of development initiatives.”

Applications for this round of the fellowship are now open. Interested candidates can apply until December 10, 2023.
