As part of its wider growth plans, Saudia Group, a Qatar-based supermarkets and hypermarkets conglomerate, is entering the UAE market with the opening of Kenz Hypermarket in Ajman.

Located in Hamidiya, the new hypermarket will offer a range of products including food, home and kitchen essentials, apparel and footwear. Kenz Hypermarket will be a one-stop shopping solution for residents in Ajman.

Saudia Group is well-known for its retail business model with a number of supermarkets, hypermarkets, bakeries and shopping avenues in Qatar. Established in 1988, the group has grown to become a household name in Qatar with the number of supermarkets under its banner proliferating over the years. Venturing out of the home ground for the first time, the brand is looking forward to increasing its footprint across the region by expanding into the UAE.

“We are very pleased to venture into the UAE, which is an extremely promising market for growth,” Saudia Group

Chairman N K Musthafa said. “Our aim is to take our quality food and lifestyle products to a wider expanse of consumers across the region. Our retail operations have seen a steady growth in Qatar, and we are positive that UAE, with its vibrant economy and large avenues for hypermarkets, will be a highly opportune market for us. Over the years, we have achieved great success owing to our 1,000 strong employees and faithful customers.”
