The Middle East Rail event, scheduled to take place March 8 and 9 in Dubai, will feature work by international engineering company Sener.

The company has business involving railway lines and urban transport in the Middle East and generally works from one of three local offices in UAE, Oman and Qatar. Sener is involved in multiple engineering projects in the areas surrounding the three offices.

Once Sener completes an active tram study for the light rail system (LRT) of Abu Dhabi, the company will begin building tech-based engineering projects for the first two stages of the Etihad railway network in the UAE. Sener is partnered in the Section One project of the national railway network in Oman. In Qatar, the company is involved in the new LRT Project developed by QDVC (Qatar Diar – Vinci Construction) in Lusail, by supplying an Independent Checker Engineer and Site Supervision.

Sener is also involved in the Doha Metro in aspects of design and the construction stage coordination of the architectural appeal and landscaping, in addition to completing the design of the civil engineering work where the Red Line South is slightly elevated.

Known to be the top name in urban transportation, Sener offers integrated engineering services for conventional metro systems, including but not limited to design, construction and maintenance. To date, the company has successfully finished projects and studies for more than 10,000 km of railway track. Numerous high-level, difficult jobs have earned Sener the reputation for being a leader in the engineering industry.

Sener has been involved in many notable transportation projects involving stations and rail terminals. Namely, it has worked on the Los Angeles Union Station in California; La Sagrera Station in Barcelona; Madrid’s Puerta del Sol Transport Interchange, which boasts the world’s largest cavern mined in a highly populated urban area; and the Shivaji Nagar and Bijwasan Stations Master Plan in India.
