Outgoing members of the Campus Student Council (CSC) from Sharjah Women’s College (SWC) and Sharjah Men’s College (SMC) were recently praised for their contributions over the past school year.

Those on the SWC Student Council who received appreciation certificates and awards were Naila Al Qatami, president; Fatma Al Buraimi, vice president; Fatima Khawri, secretary; and Arwah Al Ameri, treasurer.

Those on the SMC Student Council who received appreciation certificates and awards were Hamdan Al Talyani, president; Marwan Al Zarooni, vice president; Ahmed Bukallah, secretary; and Rashid Al Ali, treasurer.

SWC Student Council member Maryam Bin Hateem was also recognized, as well as SMC Student Council members Mohamed Al Zarooni, Omar Al Zarooni and Mohammed Al Ansari.

During the ceremony honoring the outgoing CSC members of Sharjah College’s female and male campuses, SMC Director Abdulla Al Suwaiji advised newly elected members to represent the interests of all students.

SWC and SMC are two Higher College of Technology (HCT) colleges based in the city of Sharjah. Both offer various programs that integrate academic and practical experience.
