Shell Oman said Monday that Mohammed Mahmood Al Balushi has been appointed Shell Oman’s new managing director.

Al Balushi, who will replace Adil Ismail Abdullah Al-Raisi, brings more than two decades of finance and management experience to the job, including 12 years with Shell, most recently working as a country manager for retail operations. 

 Al Balushi is currently pursuing doctoral work in business administration in the United Kingdom and holds several other business related diplomas.

In addition to his responsibilities as managing director, Al Balushi will represent Shell shareholder Shell Gas BV.
