Shop Bahrain held its third raffle Friday at Bahrain Mall.

The raffle is part of a 30-day celebration of Bahrani culture, hospitality and tourism that hopes to promote Bahrain as a family-friendly destination for local and international visitors by showcasing shopping deals and entertainment.

Event organizers made three drawings for prizes such gold coins, cars, plane tickets and electronics. Traditional Bahrani Jirba dancers was performed during the raffle. Additional prizes were offered before the raffle for shoppers who could correctly answer questions about the festival.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Shop Bahrain organizers conducted the raffle.

The fourth and final Shop Bahrain raffle will be held on the final day of the event, Jan. 23, at Al A’ali Shopping Complex. The grand prize drawing will choose from the names of all shoppers who register during the event.

According to the Bahrain News Agency, Shop Bahrain has attracted at least 32,000 shoppers to 18 malls and 2,000 retail stores, accumulating more than $13.2 million in total sales. Aside from raffles, the festival has offered ice skating rinks, restaurant tours and traditional song and dance performances.
