Spain’s Secretary of State for Trade

Jamie Garcia and his delegation recently met with Qatar’s president of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal)  HE Eng Nasser bin Ali Al Mawlai to exchange views on issues between the two nations including goals for mutual cooperation and interests.

HE Ignacio Escobar, Spain’s ambassador to Qatar, accompanied Garcia and a high-level delegation made up of individuals from the Spanish Ministry of Economy. They also talked about the increasing trade of services and expertise between the nations, and infrastructure projects took up a significant amount of the discussions.

Spain and Qatar have been increasing trade which benefits both parties as they strive towards greater economic stability in the changing global economy. These discussions are just one of the many ways international leaders from the two countries have been collaborating.
