Baytik Industrial Oasis Company (BIO), the modular industrial leasing complex at Bahrain International Investment Park (BIIP), has welcomed Tactile Roofing WLL to the complex, leasing 4,783 square meters to the firm for its new venture in the kingdom.

The agreement was signed between BIO Chairman Osama Al Khajah and Ankit Sanghrajka, director of Tactile Roofing WLL.

“BIO is delighted to sign this agreement with Tactile Roofing WLL and to provide a firm foundation for the success of our clients’ businesses while promoting foreign direct investment in the kingdom in partnership with BIIP,” Al Khajah said. “With BIO now near fully occupied, we have strong demand for the remainder of the space.”

Tactile Roofing produces stone-coated metal roofing tiles and plans to export them around the GCC and to Africa.

The BIO site, a wholly owned subsidiary of Kuwait Finance House Bahrain (KFH-B), is near capacity.

“BIO is an important part of CBRE’s portfolio of assets under management in the Kingdom of Bahrain, providing pre-built industrial space with excellent facilities,” Heather Longden, associate director of CBRE Bahrain, said. “This latest agreement is a great achievement, and we look forward to continuing to support BIO and KFH-B to secure leading and innovative firms for the final remaining units.”
