A first shipment of crude oil, approximately 300,000 barrels,
has been completed by Oman Oil Company Exploration and Production LLC (OOCEP).

The
oil was fully processed May 4 at Musandam Gas Plant and was transported by
tanker VLCC TSURUGA from Musandam Terminal for crude oil export. After the
barrels were loaded onto the vessel, the tanker left from the Single Point
Mooring, marking a major achievement for Oman and OOCEP, a subsidiary of Oman
Oil Company S.A.O.C. (OOC).

Khalifa Al Makhmari, the Musandam Gas Plant project director,
noted the success of the trip.

“The achievement of this very significant event marks the
MGP Terminal as the second Omani crude export terminal after Mina Al Fahal on
the international crude oil trade routes,” Al Makhmari said. “We expect
Musandam Gas Plant with its wide range of oil and gas processing and export
capabilities to be a major contributor to the economic prosperity of the
Musandam governorate as well as to the national economy.”

Musandam Gas Plant has the capacity to process up to 20,000
of barrels of oil per day, 45 million cubic feet of gas and 75 tons of LPG. The
plant processes production fluids from local offshore fields in Bukha A and
West Bukha.
