Leaders with the Tejar Dubai entrepreneurship development program, a Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry initiative, recently started the program’s 20th commercial project with Familia Emirati, a clothes store.

Familia Emirati, located in Hatta on the Dubai-Oman Highway, creates ready-to-wear clothing as well as accessories. It is the eighth store that has been included in the Alwars and Alfosol Trading Company group. Familia Emirati focuses on evening garments and ready-to-wear clothing for families. The clothing and accessories include perfumes, bags, accessories, shoes, linens, cribs, toys, supplies for infants and stationery.

Familia Emirati is the fourth project that Tejar Dubai has started this year. The projects are now a regular part of the program’s goals of encouraging and supporting commercially focused, creative entrepreneurs in the emirate. The entrepreneurs are able to develop their ideas into businesses and physical stores.

Several people attended the launch of the new store and the partnership, including Saif Al Shafar, chairman of the Tejar Dubai Youth Council; Essa Al Zaabi, senior vice president of the Institutional Support Sector and the general coordinator of Tejar Dubai; and Ali Al Bidwawi, the owner of Familia Emirati.
