Three new commercial projects have started up through the Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s industry initiative, the Tejar Dubai Entrepreneurship Development Program, the chamber said June 17.

The projects are Roundup Food Trucks, Hamburgah and Maitha Al Zaabi Financial Auditing and Consulting.

Hamburgah, owned by Ahmad Almulla, is a fast-food catering business specializing in hamburgers.

Two types of burgers are offered along with sides such as french fries. The business is equipped to handle small- to medium-size events such as birthday parties, family gatherings and expos.

Maitha Al Zaabi Financial Auditing and Consulting offers financial advice to small- and mid-size entities. Advice can be given on legal issues, finances, bookkeeping and internal and external auditing.

The firm, owned by Maitha Al Zaabi, follows guidelines set forth by the International Financial Reporting Standards and United Arab Emirates.

Roundup Food Trucks, which rents out and sells trucks used in food catering businesses, promotes products and offers automated teller machines and other utility services, is owned by Rafia Al Mulla.

Al Mulla is working to establish a second location in Dubai. She currently has 12 trucks to rent and is looking to have 100 by the end of 2015.

The official launches of the projects were attended by Dubai Chamber officials including Chairman H.E. Majid Saif Al Ghurair; President and CEO H.E. Hamad Buamim; and Senior Vice President, Institutional Support Sector, and Tejar Dubai General Coordinator

 Essa Al Zaabi.

Buamim lauded the young entrepreneurs for their innovative ideas and efforts to make those ideas viable business projects.

So far, seven projects have been launched through the program; that number will be at least 10 by year’s end.
