Trend Micro’s Deep Security cloud and data security platform is now certified as a VCE Validation Ready solution through the VCE Technology Alliance Partner (TAP) program; the TAP program is designed for independent technology providers seeking to simplify and accelerate their products’ security certifications with VCE Vblock Systems.

Trend Micro’s Deep Security was the first platform built to be Vblock-ready back in 2012 when the technology was launched. Now certified by TAP, Deep Security is set to provide market-leading security for physical, virtual and cloud servers from a single comprehensive platform.

The platform features centralized admin and reporting, with both system and network security controls to protect virtual workloads. Trend Micro’s Deep Security is designed to defend against network vulnerabilities like Shellshock and Heartbleed.

The company aims to ensure organizations can focus on business operations instead of constantly dealing with emergency patching for new vulnerabilities.

With the VAT certification, Deep Security can be incorporated into Vblock-ready systems as those networks scale up, to allow businesses to grow networks securely without sacrificing functionality.

“We are excited to strengthen our partnership with VCE through the VCE Validation Ready program as we continue our history of providing best-of-breed protection from Deep Security … to protect the leading converged and hyper-converged systems in the world,” Trend Micro Vice President Partha Panda said. “With Deep Security, VCE Vblock System customers can focus on their business rather than worrying about their IT infrastructure.”
