Biswajeet Mahapatra has been appointed head of strategy and research at management consulting firm Trianz.

“I am happy to be part of Trianz leadership team,” Mahapatra said. “Trianz has a unique value proposition that got my attention and I have a strong conviction that given my experience and knowledge on strategy, I will be able to contribute to the overall success of the organization.”

Mahapatra has almost two decades of product management and research experience in IT systems security, risk and infrastructure technologies. He previously served as a research director at Gartner, helping business and IT leaders create strategies and enhance their offerings to better meet the needs of their specific industry and region. He has also held product management roles at Oracle and Hewlett-Packard.

“Biswajeet’s addition to our leadership team is timed perfectly for us — we have recently aligned our Go-To-Market strategy to the changing business and technology paradigms across various industries and geographies,” Trianz President and CEO Sri Manchala said. “His experience and market knowledge will further fuel the execution process in the desired direction.”
