The Economic Sustainability Forums 2016, which aim to bolster the cooperation between the UAE Ministry of Interior’s services and the UAE business community to help the country attract more investments, was held this week.

Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, secretary general of the Office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, pointed out that the forums provide insights into the future of business while enhancing the competitiveness of the country internationally. “They also meet the aspirations of the business sector regarding the nature of services provided by the MoI,”

Al Nuaimi said. “This directly relates to streamlining business operations, whether for small businesses, medium or large enterprises.”

“These forums are an opportunity for direct communication between the police leadership and the business sector,”

Al Nuaimi said. “We are completely transparent in determining and understanding their suggestions, as well as the challenges facing the sector, with view to ultimately achieving sustainable development.”
