One of the Middle East’s most
established FMCG companies is expanding its services in more than 29
international countries. In doing so, Unikai has brought on Seidor MENA, a
multinational Dubai-based group of companies, to help develop it human
resources unit.

Unikai originated in 1977
through demand from the UAE market. Currently it is one of the largest food
companies in the Arabian Peninsula and continues to grow, with recent entries
into Bahrain and Qatar. The company offers a variety of products including, ice
cream, juices, a wide selection of dairy items and foods made in UAE which are
then distributed throughout the region and globally.

“We believe that we can achieve better business efficiencies by deploying the Seidor NOMINA solution within our HR systems,” Neeraj Vohra, CEO of Unikai, said. “It will drive greater operational efficiencies, by helping us devote our time and efforts towards our core business of providing superior quality food products to our customers across the UAE, Oman and other 29 markets. Through investment in a robust human capital system, we are minimizing human intervention, achieving more efficient budgeting, and improving our decision making and planning process.”

The company has a strong belief
in investing in employees and promoting from within when possible. Unikai is
rebuilding its human resources department to be able to handle the continuous
growth. Seidor MENA’s role is to implement a large, comprehensive capital
management solution to include payroll efficiency and employee self-services
when applicable.

“Unikai decided on Seidor Nomina
solution following a thorough assessment of a variety of solutions specialized
in payroll management process automation,” Vohra said. “Seidor Nomina was chosen for its in-depth knowledge and expertise in
developing the current system deployed in Unikai to boost productivity and employee
satisfaction.”
