Cyclists taking part in Dubai Tour 2017 sped through the Ajman leg of the tour with ease thanks to the efforts of 40 Ajman University students. The students were stationed at various checkpoints across the
Emirates to ensure a safe and easy ride for the teams of competitors.

By taking part in the event, the students gained hands-on experience in the
planning, organization and management of live sports events. They worked with official organizers and the Ajman Police to gain insight into all that goes into major events like the Dubai Tour.

Dubai
Tour 2017 marked the fourth year of the professional cycling race, which has five stages and brings the best
competition from around the world. The event is organized by the Dubai Sports
Council in conjunction with RCS Sports and Events JLT.
