VIVA offers free minutes with international credit transfers

To celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, VIVA Bahrain will give its prepaid customers the opportunity to transfer any prepaid credits to family members or friends in their home countries — as well as to receive free international calling minutes.

The free minutes can be used for calls to the destination country to which customers transfer their credits. Credits can be transferred to

Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal,

Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka or Yemen.

Customers who transfer credits to

Bangladesh or India will receive 20 free international calling minutes; credits transferred to Indonesia or Pakistan will earn 10 additional international minutes; and customers transferring credits to

Nepal,

the Philippines, Sri Lanka or Yemen will receive five minutes.

The promotion will run until July 22. To take advantage of the offer, customers must send a free SMS to 109 with the mobile number of another prepaid customer in the destination country or dial *109# and follow the instructions.
