The GSMA Association recently rated Vodafone Qatar as a premium operator for its roaming services.

The association, which represents the interests of mobile operators around the world, rates operators every year based on their compliance with the most current roaming standards.

Vodafone Qatar has more than 600 roaming partners worldwide, providing customers with coverage on over 20 international airlines and in 43 destinations often visited by the Qatar population. Its roaming offerings include 4G roaming in 38 countries, a Passport Pack that consists of unlimited minutes for incoming calls from anywhere in the world and 1GB internet in 45 countries. The Passport Pack also provides an additional 1GB for GCC countries.

“We are delighted by GSMA’s recognition of our premier roaming standard,” Vodafone Qatar Chief Operating Officer Mohamed Al Sadah said. “At Vodafone, we know how important it is for customers to have high quality roaming services allowing them to confidently connect abroad. Vodafone globally maintains a leading roaming position and thanks to being part of Vodafone Group Plc, the world’s largest network, we here in Qatar are able to give our customers the widest roaming footprint and the widest 4G coverage.”
