Officials of the Government of Dubai Media Office’s (GDMO) creative offshoot, Brand Dubai, recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Wasl Properties to develop creative public art projects across Dubai.

Brand Dubai has worked on UAE art projects such as Dubai’s open-air art museum and projects highlighting the city’s unique and historic monuments and structures.

GDMO General Director Mona Al Marri said the agreement is mutually beneficial to both sides.

“Signing this MoU is part of Brand Dubai’s objective of contributing to the development of Dubai’s cultural and artistic scene in collaboration with our strategic partners,”

Al Marri said. “I am confident that Brand Dubai’s experience of developing creative public artworks aimed at enhancing the artistic and cultural ambiance of the city and Wasl’s experience as a leading property development company will make this a very fruitful partnership.”

Wasl Asset Management Group CEO Hesham Abdullah Al Qassim agreed.

“We are honored to work with Brand Dubai, and we welcome this partnership to develop new creative public art in Dubai,”

Al Qassim
said. “As a real estate company, our activities are not only limited to providing real estate solutions but also extend to contributing to realizing Dubai’s future vision. In collaboration with Brand Dubai, Wasl is keen to give Dubai’s residents a great cultural and aesthetic experience.”
