The website launch for the November Aviation Investment Summit, which was held in November 2015, came a month before the summit, which was held during the Dubai Airshow.

The website was launched by the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and the summit was organized under the patronage of UAE Minister of Economy and Chairmain of the GCAA Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri with the primary focus of showing attendees investment opportunities in the UAE civil aviation industry, especially in areas of maintenance, repair and overhaul, training and education — vocational and academic, ground services — ground handling (passengers and cargo), catering, FBOs, infrastructure, aircraft hangar services, airport development and aircraft recycling/decommissioning.

“Aviation Investment Summit website is the go-to source for investors and business owners interested in exploring the profitable opportunities in UAE civil aviation market,” GCAA Director General Saif Al Suwaidi said. “It not only describes all the details of the summit but also provides insights on the excellent opportunities available at the event to promote business collaboration.”

The website is still active, even though the summit has concluded and includes the latest studies on the aviation industry and figures on the overall economy in UAE.
