For the third consecutive year, the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) will include a dedicated area for real estate developers focused on sustainable urban development. The 27th edition of WETEX is scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 2, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event brings together national and international companies recognized for their work in green construction and environmentally conscious building projects.
The exhibition is organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with patronage from HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.
WETEX covers various sectors such as energy, water, clean and renewable technologies, decarbonisation efforts, digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, sustainable cities initiatives, green hydrogen technology, and more.
“WETEX supports Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan and the UAE’s regional and global pioneering position in adopting the concept of sustainable cities. This dynamic collaboration fosters the advancement of sustainable real estate and green buildings – not only in Dubai but globally, paving the way for a more resilient, environmentally friendly and sustainable future,” said HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA and Founder and Chairman of WETEX.
