Work training programs delves into emotional intelligence in the office

In order to better the partnership within

the Center for Documentation of Cultural and Natural Heritage (CULTNAT), one of the research centers of the academic research sector at Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and YUSRE Vocational
& Managerial Training HR & BS Consultancy, a YUSRE team developed a recent two-day training program titled “The Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace.”

The program’s outline said those taking part would fulfill
company goals including self-management, self-awareness, how to effectively
impact others, the balance of optimism and pessimism and successful non-verbal
and verbal communication.

The program alos covered emotions within the workplace including self-regulation, self-motivation, and empathy; how to understand and
manage emotions; knowing the upside to emotional intelligence; and how to relate emotional intelligence in the office.
