Daring adventurers in Abu Dhabi might get the chance to test their mettle at the world’s tallest indoor climbing wall and widest flight chamber, come 2018.

The wall and flight chamber are part of a $100 million indoor attraction on Yas Island being planned by Abu Dhabi developer Miral, which has named the project CLYMB.

“CLYMB project is an important and distinctive addition to the unique portfolio of destinations developed by Miral on Yas Island,” Miral CEO Mohammed Abdullah Al Zaabi said. “With the world’s widest flight chamber and tallest indoor climbing wall coming to Abu Dhabi, we will offer visitors the opportunity to enjoy exceptional experiences that combine excitement and adventure together.”

The flight chamber, planned at 32 feet across, will offer a skydiving simulation, while the 141-foot climbing wall will be one of four walls offering varying degrees of difficulty for all levels of climber.

CLYMB will include retailers, a space to host parties, and food and drink outlets. Visitors will also have access to Yas Island’s many leisure and entertainment offerings, such as those at Yas Mall, which features more than 400 fashion brands, more than 90 restaurants and cafes, the largest family entertainment zone in the region, and a 20-screen cinema.
