Zain KSA, a prominent telecommunications and digital services provider in Saudi Arabia, has reported its financial results for the first half of 2025. The company achieved a 5% year-on-year increase in total revenues, reaching SAR 5.344 billion. This growth contributed to a 28% rise in net profit, totaling SAR 220 million for the period. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) also grew by 7%, amounting to SAR 1.664 billion.

The positive financial performance is attributed to Zain KSA’s expanding business operations and investments aimed at enhancing user experience. Growth was driven by an increasing portfolio of 5G products and services, as well as the expansion of both 4G and 5G networks across Saudi Arabia. The demand for direct consumer offerings through Yaqoot and investments in adjacent markets like FinTech have further supported this growth.

Eng. Saad bin Abdulrahman AlSadhan, CEO of Zain KSA, remarked: “Innovation and progress centered on national and human development are at the heart of Zain KSA’s strategy. Our commitment is to support nationwide progress and enrich the lives of people, and we place these priorities at the forefront of every strategic investment, in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s economic, social, and digital goals.”

AlSadhan continued: “Our H1 2025 financial results reaffirm the continued growth of our operations and financial metrics, anchored in sustainability and effective governance. This performance has further cemented our position as the telecoms and digital services provider of choice in the Kingdom.”

During Hajj season 1446H, Zain KSA enhanced pilgrims’ experiences with AI-powered services backed by advanced 5G infrastructure. The company began deploying a Stand-Alone network over the low band spectrum while extending coverage within Riyadh’s Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Tunnel.

Zain KSA also focuses on creating a sustainable workplace that prioritizes employee wellbeing. The company’s efforts were recognized at the Council of Health Insurance Excellence Awards 2024 with accolades for Best Employer Health & Wellbeing Program for Large Enterprises.

To deliver an improved digital experience, Zain KSA launched a service allowing visitors to register SIM cards through Yaqoot using ‘Absher’ app authentication service (WTHIQ), making it the first such service in Saudi Arabia.
