Zain Kuwait received the Best Network Award in Opensignal’s Mobile Network Experience Report for February 2026, according to an April 19 announcement. The recognition highlights Zain’s performance across multiple network quality metrics and its position as a leading provider of mobile services in the country.

The award is significant as it underscores Zain’s ongoing efforts to improve network quality and meet the growing demands for reliable connectivity among consumers and businesses in Kuwait. It also reflects broader trends within the telecom sector, including investment in digital infrastructure and adoption of advanced technologies such as 5G.

According to the independent Opensignal report, Zain led all operators by winning outright or sharing top positions across nine different metrics. These included sole wins for Coverage Experience (8.1 out of 10), 5G Coverage Experience (4.5 out of 10), Consistent Quality (71.2 out of 100), 5G Video Experience (77.2 out of 100), and 5G Download Speed Experience (328.8 Mbps). The company also shared first place in Video Experience, Download Speed Experience, Time on Network, and Reliability Experience.

Opensignal evaluated mobile operator performance over a three-month period from October to December 2025 using key indicators relevant to everyday user experience. The report found that Zain’s consistent high scores demonstrate depth and resilience across its network operations.

In addition to this recognition, Zain recently won three awards from Ookla Speedtest during Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona: Fastest 5G Network in Kuwait, Best Coverage in Kuwait, and Best 5G Network in Kuwait based on data collected during the second half of last year.

These accolades reflect Zain’s continued investments into modernizing its network infrastructure while maintaining a focus on customer experience through innovation and operational efficiency.
