Zain Kuwait has sponsored the SAP Business Suite Innovation Day, an event focused on the country’s digital transformation. The event, titled ‘Kuwait’s Digital Future: Driven by Connected Applications, Data and AI’, brought together senior executives, decision-makers, and experts from both public and private sectors.

The opening ceremony included notable attendees such as Minister of State for Communications Affairs Omar Al-Omar, German Ambassador to Kuwait Hans-Christian Freiherr von Reibnitz, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Aseel Al-Munaifi, Chief Enterprise Business Officer at Zain Kuwait Hamad Al-Marzouq, Chief Technology Officer Daaij Al-Oud, Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer Waleed Al-Khashti, and SAP Kuwait’s Country Managing Director Sundus Boushahri.

According to Zain Kuwait, supporting this event is part of its ongoing strategy to advance Kuwait’s digital agenda through partnerships in the technology sector. One example highlighted was Zain’s collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy for smart meter projects that began in 2017. This initiative marked one of the early efforts in digital transformation within Kuwait.

The company also works closely with international technology firms like SAP to help institutions adopt cloud solutions and utilize artificial intelligence for improved efficiency and customer experience. These efforts support New Kuwait Vision 2035 goals aimed at building an innovative economy based on knowledge.

The event featured keynotes and panel discussions addressing how connected applications and artificial intelligence are shaping the nation’s digital landscape. Participants explored ways smart technologies can enable institutions to adapt within a rapidly changing business environment.

Zain reiterated its commitment to being a central digital partner for both government entities and private organizations by providing advanced infrastructure services. The company stated that it aims to foster an integrated ecosystem connecting enterprise applications with data and AI capabilities to strengthen Kuwait’s position as a regional center for advanced digital services.
