ZonesCorp acting CEO Saeed Eissa Al Khyeli has been chosen to serve as director general of the Abu Dhabi-based industrial development company.

“I am confident that he will contribute to the success of the organization and to achieving our vision of being the preferred regional destination of choice for industrial investments by 2020,” Zonescorp Chairman Ali Majed Al Mansoori said. “I also look forward to working with him on realizing the company’s goals of developing and managing diversified and sustainable industrial zones in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.”

Al Khyeli has worked for ZonesCorp since 2002. In his most recent role as acting CEO, he created ZoneCorp’s policies and financial regulations. He also was tasked with overseeing its operational plans.

Al Khyeli was previously ZoneCorp’s financial and administration executive director and prior to that was the head of the finance department at Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.

“I am proud of the confidence given by our wise leadership and our chairman and board of directors, and I am fully prepared to carry out my responsibilities to achieve the company’s vision and goals,” Al Khyeli said.
