Aster DM Healthcare receives Business Excellence Awards

Two ventures from Aster DM Healthcare recently received the Business Excellence Award from Dubai's Department of Economic Development for their accomplishments in 2014.

“We take humble pride in this recognition, knowing that our best-practice and commitment to quality and patient satisfaction are acknowledged,” Aster DM Healthcare Chairman and Managing Director Azad Moopen said. “We ensure optimal levels of patient care and customer satisfaction at par with global standards, and these awards are testament to that. The Business Excellence Awards stand not only as a stamp of our success but also as a continued assurance of our commitment towards excellence.”

Aster has reached new standards for excellence and quality with these awards that formally recognize organizations showing continuous excellence and improvement by implementing solid approaches. The two recognized ventures were Aster Pharmacy Division, which received the Best Service Performance Brands award from the Dubai Service Excellence Scheme, and Medcare Hospital, which received the Dubai Quality Appreciation Award.

“We demonstrated our commitment to excellence by winning these awards, and we are confident their success will contribute to further enhancing the standards of healthcare delivery in the emirate,” Dr. Moopen said. “Our aim is to become a role model in the healthcare industry by achieving excellence in overall performance, leadership, policies and strategies, resources, best practices, patient safety and satisfaction, and commitment to the society.”
