Undersecretary of the United Arab Emirates Ministry of the Interior Lt. Gen. Saif Abdullah Al Sha'far stressed the importance of good service to staff during an inspection Friday in Sharjah.
The inspection took place at the Office of the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs. He was joined by Maj. Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, the director general of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai.
During the inspection, Al Sha'far reviewed the workflow of the office and the performance of its staff members. He called on staff members to ensure their work is completed in an efficient manner. He stated that they should be streamlining anything they could in order to make the work process quicker while maintaining high accuracy levels. This included suggestions of what obstacles that could impede the work of the department and how they could be eliminated or mitigated.
Al Sha'far also gave praise to the office for the overall high-quality work that it has provided thus far. The undersecretary met with Director General Col. Aref Mohammed Al Shamesi and heads of the individual departments in order to gain an understanding of the procedures of the office.
Following this Shamesi thanked the officials for their efforts in evaluation of the work of his office.
