The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) recently announced that it has started a new online business gateway to the world, all powered through cloudBuy.
This new e-commerce platform allows businesses in India to market their services and products and expand their business regionally, nationally and globally. No matter the size of the company, everyone is invited to take advantage of the opportunity to list businesses for free on CII’s gateway. Businesses can trade online on the same day that they register.
“We are pleased to be able to bring this e-commerce gateway to global supply chains to CII members,” CII National SME Council Chairman TT Ashok said. “They are invited to list their company, products and services and trade securely online. We have made sure that the marketplace has low transaction costs and delivers fast payments direct to sellers’ bank accounts. We believe the initiative is a simple way to increase visibility. It will provide Indian businesses with a new gateway to the world.”
CloudBuy, a worldwide provider of e-commerce solutions, is powering the secure technology platform. It enables companies to process inquiries, orders, payments and invoices; sell products and services; accept payments through various methods; showcase multiple images of their services and products; and even upload a product catalog.
“We are delighted to be working in collaboration with CII in India to deliver the (business to business) B2B marketplace infrastructure to enable secure e-commerce on the CII business gateway,” cloudBuy CEO Lyn Duncan said. “Our cloudBuy teams in the U.K. and India are now focused on bringing as many organisations as possible onto the marketplace and making it simple for them to do business globally.”
