Qatar Airways will add an additional Airbus A380 flight on July 1 to the route between the London's Heathrow Airport and Doha.
This second Airbus will replace the current A330 that flies that route, firmly basing Qatar Airways’ routes through the U.K. Qatar Airways already provides six daily flights between London and Doha as well as double daily flights from Doha to Manchester. Beginning in May, Qatar Airways will also add daily direct flights from Doha to Edinburgh.
The new flight, labeled QR002, will leave London at 9:30 p.m. and reach Doha at 6:10 the next morning. The return route, labeled QR001, will depart Doha at 12:35 a.m. and arrive in London at 5:55 p.m. the same day.
The Airbus will continue to provide Qatar Airways’ famous five-star service and in-flight entertainment. The two-deck plane will have eight first class seats, 48 business class seats and 461 economy class seats.
