TP-LINK partners with Carrefour

T-LINK Technologies Co Ltd., a provider of Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) and Small-/Mid-size Business (SMB) networking products and wireless services, recently signed a partnership agreement with Carrefour, a well-known power retailer.

“Carrefour is a household name in the consumer electronics retail space in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and signing the company to resell our products augurs well with our strategy to grow the retail business in the Middle East,” TP-LINK Middle East Sales Manager Lucas Jiang said. “The networking market in Qatar is experiencing unprecedented growth with the many infrastructure projects that are being implemented in the country. We believe with good cooperation, we both can have a profitable business partnership that benefits us and Carrefour.”

TP-LINK produces switches, asymmetric digital subscriber lines, Internet Protocol cameras, print servers, powerline adapters, network adapters, wireless, and media converters. According to leaders at TP-LINK, the partnership will further establish the company’s presence in the retail industry located in Qatar as well as broaden opportunities for TP-LINK products to be marketed and purchased in Carrefour’s stores.

“We are hoping, TP-LINK becomes the top selling networking brand in Qatar’s retail sector just like we have done in the UAE,” Jiang said. “With the high quality products, excellent post-sales service and good product training to promoters, we are optimistic that we will be able to develop the business in Qatar to benefit both parties.”

Jiang said the alliance with Carrefour will provide consumers several networking products and wireless solutions.

“At the start of this year, we decided to focus on developing the business with power retailers across MENA and having Carrefour as one of the key retailer partners in Qatar will go a long way in helping us achieve the goal of becoming the number one SOHO and SMB networking solutions brand,” he said.
