One of the Gulf Region's major food producers and suppliers of fruits and vegetables this week announced its new partnership with a Lebanese bakery.
Emirati Khaled Foudeh Group of Companies (KAF) has joined with Wooden Bakery, a family-owned business that has grown to be one of the Gulf Region's largest makers and seller of breads, pastries and other baked sweets. Wooden Bakery re-energized the Lebanese econony when it opened more than two decades ago, and since then has continued to make strides with its new business standards as well as improvements to its services and products.
KAF will now oversee all Wooden Bakery franchise operations overseas. A chain of specialty branches of the bakery is also planned, and locations will be opened throughout the United Arab Emirates. Under the terms of the new agreement, KAF will open 10 bakeries over a six-year period, using the Wooden brand's proven growth and success as marketing tools.
