Qatar Airways offers luxury promotion to U.S. travelers

Qatar Airlines announced on Monday it will offer discounted rates for business and first class air tickets when U.S. passengers buy two premium class tickets during the "Double the Luxury" promotion.

The promotion runs until Sunday and can be used to purchase tickets for travel dates through Dec. 10 of this year.

"This is a special promotion for our loyal customers travelling with Qatar Airways to experience the world's best business class and also the award-winning lounge facilities at Hamad International Airport," Qatar Airways Group CEO His Excellency Akbar Al Baker said. "We want to thank our loyal passengers for their ongoing support, loyalty and appreciation of our award-winning five-star in-flight product and onboard service. All around the world, our passengers can take advantage of our ever-growing network which now includes more than 140 destinations, with convenient flights via Doha."

Premium flyers have access to the Al Mourjan Business Lounge at the Hamad International Airport and includes a large seating lounge, a business center, four dining establishments and a resort.

Qatar Airways and this lounge were recognized at the Skytrax 2014 World Airline Awards with the "World's Best Business Class" and "World's Best Business Class Airline Lounge" awards.
