Emaar Hospitality Group has launched operation extensions to Nigeria and Bahrain in the form of management contracts for hotels and residence management, the group announced Tuesday.
According to the announcement, the addition of these two locations adds to the international presence of its flagship hotel line, The Address Hotel and Resorts, which is present in Turkey and Egypt.
"Emaar Hospitality Group is set apart by our exceptional track-record in managing hotels and serviced residences, a skillset that has enabled us to drive our rapid international growth," Emaar Hospitality Group's Chief Operations Officer Philippe Zuber said. "Expanding to new markets has always been part of our development strategy and our strong operations in Dubai, a multicultural city with over 200 nationalities, have instilled in us the confidence and competency levels to meet region-specific hospitality requirements in global markets."
The group has signed management contracts with Eagle Hills, a private investment company that specializes in city hub development and mixed-use projects in international markets. They are based in Abu Dhabi.
The Address Hotel and Resort line will operate in Centenary City Abuja, Nigeria and in Marassi Al Bahrain with hotel and residential facilities. In Bahrain, the Vida hotel and residence brand will also be built. The announcement states that projects are expected to be completed by 2018.
