Fifty students from the Higher Colleges of Technology recently visited Dubai Studio City (DSC) where head of operations Khalid Al Awadi spoke with them about the growth and development of the media and production industry in Dubai.
The students toured the state-of-the-art facilities in DSC's sound stages, which are the largest of their kind in the region and boast green screens, indoor tanks for underwater filming and cutting-edge post-production facilities.
DSC is a part of TECOM Investments, which is a member of Dubai Holding. It includes world-class production companies and talent, as well as state-of-the-art facilities and production infrastructure. In operation since 2005, DSC offers movie and TV production investment opportunities as well as commercial space such as warehouses and workshops for business partners.
