According to a recent announcement, Integrated Management System (IMS) certification has been awarded to the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, further enabling the chamber to improve its quality of services.
The certification recognizes the achievement and compliance of the chamber to improve the speed, flexibility and efficiency of its operations. Now, the chamber is striving to meet the international standards of internal management systems.
“The certificate is an endorsement of the chamber’s efforts to a quality management approach as it requires a system to manage operations, resources, risk, and health and safety at the workplace as this goes in line with our strategy as well,” Dubai Chamber President and CEO H.E. Hamad Buamim said.
“This also reflects that there is already a comprehensive approach to identify priorities such as offering value-added services to customers, staff efficiency, quality, happiness and well-being,” Buamim said. “Also, this honour will encourage us to work hard and help us promote Quality Management System good practices within the business community in Dubai in line with the Government’s directives of offering smart services to all customers while keeping in step with latest technological changes."
Buamim said over the past years the Dubai Chamber has established a systematic approach to its management systems, managing its business to ensure the chamber’s stakeholders’ needs are clearly understood, agreed and fulfilled.
