Qatar Airways to offer passenger service to Amsterdam

Qatar Airways will begin offering passenger flights between Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar and Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam on June 16.

The round-trip route will be offered every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

“As an airline, we are always looking for new opportunities to grow and expand our worldwide network,” Akbar Al Baker, CEO of the airline, said. “Amsterdam is a major capital, one of the busiest airports in Europe, and one of the most popular tourism destinations in the world. We have been pursuing the opportunity to open this new route for some time ,and I am pleased to have achieved our ambition. We have high expectations for the new Amsterdam-Doha flight with many passengers already booked on our new flights."

All flights will be serviced by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft offering 254 seats for business and economy class passengers.
