Dubai is going to be even more luxurious for the next two days during Arab Luxury World 2015, the second edition of the conference where stakeholders in the most high-end brands in the Gulf region rub elbows.
Dubai’s Westin Mina Seyahi plays host to representatives from a number of luxury brands who gather to discuss market opportunities, trends, and challenges for the industry. More than 35 breakout sessions, keynote speakers and panels are scheduled to examine market reports and data, including the major impact technology and social media have in the region’s luxury sector.
Arab Luxury World draws top designers and industry representatives such as Lebanese fashion designer Aisha Ramadan and style duo Ahmad El- Sayed and Saleh Al Banna who co-founded of the House of Nomad label.
The conference was organized again by Mediaquest Corp. co-Chief Executive Officer Julien Hawari, who said both luxury brands and the Middle East’s market for those goods are in the midst of major transformative changes. That makes the event’s array of resources particularly salient.
“At this year’s conference we presented a diverse range of speakers and generated research and experience-based insights from those close to the consumers as well as those from a more indirect and macro level,” Hawari said. “The insights-driven conversations generated… were based on facts, figures, first-hand knowledge based experiences, market research and extensive consumer profiling.”
It was no coincidence Dubai was chosen for Arab Luxury World 2015, as the city makes about 30 percent of the Middle East luxury market, and about 60 percent of the United Arab Emirate’s. The conference runs through Tuesday.
