Norway's ambassador to Jordan officially inaugurated a new Norway Visa Application Center in Amman, marking the creation of the first visa application center for the government of Norway within the borders of the country.
“This is a major improvement in the processing of visas. We also expect that this will reduce the waiting times for those who still have to submit their applications at the Embassy,”

Officials at the inauguration event said the center will serve as the main channel through which people in Jordan can submit their applications to receive visas to Norway, Finland, Iceland and Denmark. The center will also receive residence permit applications from people living in Iraq and Jordan who wish to move to Denmark and Norway.
